Riad Africa’s Rooms & Suites

Decorated in the earthy, exotic and vibrant shades of Africa all guest bedrooms are equipped to a high specification with all the modern facilities expected of a first category boutique riad, including air-conditioning (heating in winter), hair-dryers, fluffy towels, bath robes, slippers, a digital safe and complimentary water on arrival.

To enhance the guest experience each suite also includes an iPod dock/alarm clock and a local mobile phone (to keep in touch with riad staff if help is required). LCD TV’s and DVD players are available on request for guests who would like to unwind watching one of the movies from Riad Africa’s Moroccan and African DVD collection. Bathrooms are very generous in size, and beautifully constructed of tadelakt-finished walls (polished local plaster), and hand-made local brass washbasins and showers.

Standard Suites (3)

All Standard Suites have double beds, two of which can be split into 2 single beds. Two rooms are located on the ground floor opposite the pool (Limpopo and Okavango), one is on the first floor overlooking the pool (Congo).

Grande Suites (4)

Larger rooms offering more living space, all Grande Suites can accommodate a third person on an extra bed. These rooms are located on the first floor overlooking the pool (Zambezi, Casablanca, Timbuktu and Khartoum).

Family Suite ‘Lalibela’ (1)

The Lalibela Family Suite is a small apartment located on the first floor of our adjoining smaller ‘douriya’ house. Offering a greater degree of privacy this suite comprises a bedroom, bathroom, WC and salon (living room) with sofa, table and TV. This Suite is ideal for families as it can sleep up to 4 people in a combination of a 4-poster bed and two extra beds on request.
