A First Class Maison d’Hôte

Fully licensed as a Marrakech Maison d’Hôte, Riad Africa originally opened its doors to guests in 2002 with a different name and under French ownership. Nowadays it is owned and operated by English-Dutch partners who share a real passion for Marrakech and the hospitality business.

A member of the Moivaro Morocco group of riads and tented camps, Riad Africa is a classically styled Marrakech riad with charm, ambience and character.

From the Congo to Timbuktu, all guest rooms are en-suite and come equipped with reversible air-conditioners/heaters, iPod docks, a local mobile phone (for contact with riad staff when out and about), bath robes/slippers, a hair-dryer and personal safe. High speed wireless internet access is available throughout the riad.

Guests can cool off in and relax around one of the largest plunge pools in the medina. Two tranquil palm-filled courtyards, a comfortable dining room/salon, a fresh juice bar and private roof garden/terrace offer a choice of public areas in which to unwind.  A range of health and beauty treatments are also available including a massage/treatment room and hammam.
